FileTrio is built on a simple rule: your files are yours. This page explains exactly what does — and does not — happen when you use any tool on this site.

100% client-side processing

Every tool on this site — merging and splitting PDFs, compressing, cropping, converting, and resizing images, and generating QR codes — runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own browser tab. Files are read using the browser’s File API, processed in memory with libraries like pdf-lib and the Canvas API, and handed back to you as a direct download. There is no server component to this app.

No uploads, ever

A file you select or drop into a FileTrio tool is never sent over the network. We don’t operate a backend to receive it, and this site makes no network request containing your file data at any point during processing.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for. FileTrio’s web tools don’t ask for a name, email address, or any other personal information to work.

No cookies beyond essential, no analytics

This site doesn’t run analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn’t set tracking cookies. The only browser storage it uses is a singlelocalStorageentry to remember your light/dark theme preference — that value never leaves your device.
